FAQs
You asked, we answered
How does ChekkU work?
ChekkU is an independent Australian platform that connects trade businesses with companies that need compliant subcontractors. Trades register, upload their licences and insurance for verification, and are matched with jobs that businesses post for their trade and area.
What are the main features of ChekkU?
Store your licences, insurance and compliance documents in one place, receive expiry reminders and complete document verification. ChekkU connects trades with available opportunities suited to their trade and location.
What happens after I get started?
Complete your profile with your trade and service locations, then upload the required licences and insurance documents for verification. Once verified, you are job ready and can be considered for suitable opportunities when work becomes available.
Does registration or verification guarantee work?
No. Being verified means you're job ready, but it doesn't guarantee jobs or a steady flow of work. Opportunities depend on the jobs businesses post, your location, your trade and each job's requirements.
How does ChekkU help with compliance documents?
ChekkU keeps your documents in one place and tells you when they're due to expire. Verification checks your documents against the requirements of the jobs businesses post. You remain responsible for keeping your documents current and meeting the requirements of your business and work.

How are paid subscriptions billed?
Paid plans show a monthly equivalent and are billed annually. See the pricing page for the annual amount for each plan. For questions about an existing subscription or cancellation, contact the team.
